Notice that all the casting flash has been removed around lifter bosses and adjustable push rods have adjusters down. Much easier.
See the small hole top left, that is where oil gets from the block to head to oil the rockers. That is where the Felpro head gaskets leak.
Oil galley plugs installed. Buick used an odd size, we had them made. Screw in plugs not recommended, may block oil passages if not done correctly.
See that white line that goes across the bottom of the water jacket?, that is a cracked block, most of the time the cracks are hidden by the starter but this is a long one!.
